THE ROLE OF A PASSENGER IN YOUR VEHICLE
It has been estimated that 45% of road accident victims are pedestrians. This presumption is therefore that the remaining 55% are passengers, drivers, and driver’s mate. However it is known that the drivers and their mates do not usually fall victims in accidents.
Therefore it can be concluded that passengers are the worse affected in accident. Since most drivers “Vanish” into tin air in the face of accidents perhaps amounts to only about 1% of the 55% of fatalities who are not pedestrians. From the figure given there is no question that passengers are one group of road users whose lives cannot be guaranteed due to irate driving on the road. We will therefore attempt to outline the role of a passenger in prevention of accidents. In the process, answers may be found to the following questions and many more where necessary.
-WHO IS A PASSENGER -WHY SHOULD A PASSENGER HAVE AN INTEREST IN ROAD SAFETY? -WHY DO PASSENGERS BOARD VEHICLES? -WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATION OF PASSENGERS BOARDING A VEHICLE? -ATTITUDE OF PASSENGERS TOWARDS OTHER PASSENGERS? -WHAT DO PASSENGERS HAVE TO DO IF ACCIDENT OCCURS? -LIABILITY OF PASSENGERS? -RESPONSIBILITIES OF PASSENGERS?ETC the above question will be treated in my next article..Ejomsvision
