Thank you for the sweet wishes @peachpurple. I do not find it tiring to fast. Even my 13 year old son has been fasting for 2;3 years now. But being online takes up a lot of time  which I want to spend praying and reading the Quran, our holy book so i just want to avoid being online. Once i start reading and commenting, time simply disappears. Best wishes for everyone. Great to know this site paid you all for your hard work. |

If you want to know about sites from where you can earn, please visit my blog dawnwriters.blogspot.com and check under Informative tab. There I have discussed some sites that i have personal experience of paying. There is a quiz site for those who like to answer trivia, survey sites like Spidermetrix, some blogging sites etc. I can safely say that all these sites pay but you can check out details on my blog. I hope this is not against rules of this site but since all other sites have been discussed in great detail, i thought I would mention my blog too. Ps. If you are good at writing about motor sports, cars, auto racing etc, do check out the blog post on Written in Chrome. I would love some feedback too if you found my blog interesting or helpful. |

Congratulations to all those who have received payments. I hope more and more serious writers join the site who care about quality of their work. I am very happy for all of you and best of luck to all of you for the next goals and targets. I am taking a bit of break from online activities because it is the holy month of Ramadan for the Muslims and with fasting and additional prayers and cooking meals for predawn and evening meals leaves me with very little time for writing though i do log in daily to see what you are all upto đ Congrats once again and best of luck. |

A lot depends upon how well  the post is written but nowadays we have a short attention span and too much to do online so I would say 500-800 words are sufficient . Anything above that and my attention starts wandering. Ps. I do not skip parts while reading a book from my favorite authors and I guess i wouldn’t skip parts of posts written by authors i know who write well |

I really despise people who plagiarise. It is pure theft and I hope @support takes quick action against the person. |

Wow, Congrats everyone on your super achievement. I am really very happy for you. So will you all get paid on 10th June? I think it is best to redeem at $10 and let excess be carried over to next month unless you are making $20 or $30 and want to cash out in multiple of tens. Anyway, well done everyone and I hope you all get paid promptly.Good luck. |

@morgoodie what’s FC? @kaka135 You are still here??? Hehe ….Go girl, pack and get ready for the hospital. Wish you all the best and may the days ahead bring you joy and happiness. |

Great idea. It would be fun to read the posts. There can be so many variations and the articles can be funny, informative or written as creative writing essays. |

@dancing.baby I have utmost respect for Sheridan and how he has run things so far. He has proved his integrity and professionalism and really we had no intentions of criticising him. What I said was part wishful thinking and part suggestions from a very layman point of view. But silence from admins is never good. There have been so many good wishes and suggestions for him on forums. It is not too much to expect an occasional update. I have no intentions of removing my blogs from Blogjob and I am still promoting them on twitter and Google+.

I miss Blogjob very much. But Sheridan’s silence is making me dejected and not very hopeful. For a site to flourish, it needs active members. Sheridan should have reduced points for posts till the site became more stable and raised payment threshold to $100 only. This way people would not have deserted the site and kept on posting and promoting. |

Incidentally, my youngest daughter was also born on 26th May. She will InshaAllah be 4-years old this 26th May đ |

Classics are really a class apart. sometimes after reading lots of modern fiction and not very high brow literature, you read a classic, it is like experiencing a fine meal after consuming a lot of junk food. My favourite writers are Jane Austen. I just love Pride and prejudice, Charles Dickens and earnest Hemingway. I really want to read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Catcher in the rye and many other classics but they demand a  lot of respect and concentration. i can read modern fiction with one eye closed but classics cannot be read that way. I have the entire collection of Sherlock Holmes and my children love it as much as I do.

I love reading and collecting quotations because they inspire and motivate me. Sometimes they make me see things differently. Here are a few of my favourites.
And my favourite:
Which one did you like best? |
