If you take the ‘hard to get’ route then we get more respect. ‘Ever ready to do things for others’ always lands up people in trouble such as you did. I belong there and I feel as though they are doing me a favour by asking me to help them out.
-
I experienced that too. I am a transferee in my school and when my classmates noticed that I excel in my class, most of them befriend me. Me being nice to everyone, whenever they ask me to share my assignments to them I share my assignments. But after getting what they want, they dont know me anymore unless they need again my help. Ugh. People nowadays

I know what you are saying…

I don’t like to either borrow or lend, especially anything that is expensive or difficult to replace. I wouldn’t want to lose something that I need and can’t afford to replace, nor would I want to be responsible for a friend’s money or belongings if I knew that I might not be able to return them safely.
So I try not to lend or borrow unless it’s small things that I can afford to lose, or that I could replace if any harm came to a friend’s belonging.

Think positive is the way to go. Nothing is given to us on a platter that has no obstacles. Obstacles could be tackled if we have a positive attitude that nothing is impossible.
-
Some may have it easier than others but of course we’ll have to earn our keep. The key is to understand no matter what each person does there’s always a critic and we’ll need to find the best ways to deal with the critics. There’s plenty of ways to find peace no matter what’s said or done. Isn’t there?

ou can never create prosperity by talking or thinking about your lack of money. This is wasted thinking and cannot bring you abundance. Dwelling on lack only creates more lack. Poverty thinking brings more poverty. Gratitude thinking brings abundance.
There are a few negative affirmations and attitudes that are guaranteed to keep prosperity beyond your reach-for example: “I never have enough money!” That’s a terrible affirmation to use. Another unproductive one is: “Money goes out faster than it comes in.” This is poverty thinking of the worst kind.
The Universe can only respond to what you believe about yourself and your life. Examine whatever negative thoughts you have about money, and then decide to release them and let them go. They haven’t served you well in the past and will not serve you well in the future.
Sometimes people think that their financial problems will be solved by inheriting money from a long-lost relative or winning the lottery. Sure, you can fantasize about such things, or even buy an occasional lottery ticket for fun, but please don’t put a lot of attention on acquiring money in this way.
This is scarcity thinking, or poverty thinking, and it won’t bring lasting good into your life. Anyway, when it comes to the lottery, winning seldom brings positive changes into anyone’s life. In fact, within two years, most lottery winners have lost almost all of their money, have nothing to show for it, and are often worse off financially than before.
The problem with money acquired in this way is that it rarely solves any problems. Why? Because it doesn’t involve changing your consciousness. In effect, you’re saying to the Universe: “I don’t deserve to have good in my life except by a fluke chance.”

Sorry. Was unable to continue reading the comment. It appears to not have any encouraging words. A bit negative but each person has their opinion. Hopefully matters will get better. Just assuming either a bad day was experienced or perhaps these are the words used often. Hope not but do appreciate the comments. Blessings. Said That.

The saying ‘After the storm comes the calm and after the calm comes the sunshine’ is common in our household.
-
Yes, it true that there will storm and after this will calmness just in human life first pain and after this calmness forever. For example, when we ponder over the labor pain after this this is endless pleasure for parents.
Pain and pleasure, light and darkness, storm and calmness, hate and love walk always side by side in human life. As it turns out, while human beings want to both avoid pain and gain pleasure, they will do more for one than the other. Avoiding immediate pain is much more motivating than gaining immediate pleasure. If there is a lion running after you versus a suitcase full of money in front of you, which would motivate the average human to act quickly?
Avoiding a certain amount of immediate pain wins over gaining immediate pleasure every time. Studies have demonstrated time and time again that people will do much more to avoid short term pain than they will to gain short term pleasure.
As time goes on, our perception of pain and pleasure changes. Every decision you make results in at least one or more of the following: short term pain, long term pain, short term pleasure or long term pleasure. Short term always wins over long term unless there is a substantial amount of pain or pleasure associated with the long term avoidance of pain or gain of pleasure involved. Pain, or the level of perceived pleasure decreases with time.

Indeed, sometimes the stormy moments we go through in life does not mean that we were bad people or that we are destined for destruction. Instead, the storms may be necessary to cleanse us what obstacles may be holding us back from doing good and being our best self. Sometimes the storms help us to rid ourselves of negative people who only seek to do us harm.

This reminds me of how people make New Year resolutions. Any day is a good day to start doing right.
I absolutely love this!! I totally agree with your post!! Every day is a new day and to start off fresh and new!! I have been learning about how to take it one day at a time!! I am grateful for each and every day!! God has a plan and I have given my life over to him!! Just Let Go and Let God!! Thanks so much for this!! It really means a lot to me!!
I love that I serve the God of the second chance. It is great to feel I can start every day anew. Thanks for the reminder.
I believe we always have a chance to start again. If we’ve wronged a friend, we can choose to apologize and to find kind words. If we have a bad habit, we can try to cultivate a healthier one. It won’t erase the things we’ve done in the past, but it’s never too late to start over fresh.
