@morgoodie We all have a long list of things we want to get around to, I suspect! I think it’s important to give ourselves permission to just learn a little at a time, though. We don’t need full mastery of each skill before we explore the next item on the list.
@kaka135 Would you believe it was coding that led me to play with graphic design? I…[Read more]

Phew! It’s just me and a very quiet Bug right now. Daddy has driven the two big girls out to the rez. They’ll stay overnight there, and head over to the gym to prepare for their Annual Ceremonial Review for cadets in the morning.
It’s a really busy weekend, with the littlest performing in Seussical the Musical again tonight and then ACR…[Read more]

It’s a good idea to share content from a number of different sites. I haven’t had much time to read and share over this week, so my Buffer keeps emptying and I’m not getting enough content put up on my Twitter feed or FB author page.
I’ll spend part of the weekend filling it up again. I like to do that, because then I get content from a bunch of…[Read more]

@morgoodie I think you could do well there, providing you find assignments that fit your interests and knowledge base. If you can’t find anything that suits you at first, just fill in your profile and wait.
I completed three assignments for the same client this week, but today I didn’t see anything that appealed to me. I am also going to be away…[Read more]

@markyg I think they didn’t approve anything yesterday. If I’m remembering well, the last batch to be published was overnight (for me, in UTC -7) on the night of June 1st to June 2nd. You could probably see the exact date and time in your history, but it will be for a different time zone as the servers are further east from me 🙂

Oh, I meant to direct a question at @sunil or maybe @scheng1: How does payment work on TextBroker UK? Do I have a minimum threshold before I request payout? Do they or PayPal take any fees when I request payment?

I wanted to come back and check in, for those who were curious how things are going with TextBroker UK. So far, I’m very pleased!
The two articles I submitted have now been accepted by the client, who rated them at 5 stars on every one of the ratings scales. The pay seems to be in my account, and I’m just waiting for TextBroker to give their…[Read more]

Is it my imagination, or has it been roughly a day since any new content was published to the site? I know I didn’t submit anything day before yesterday, but I did yesterday and it’s still in the queue. And I’ve been seeing the same posts in the sidebar now, for what I think is more than 24 hours.
Are the rest of you waiting for a lot of posts to publish?

@supoport I’ve just been looking at some groups for which I received invitations. When I load the group page, I am told there is nothing to see. This is despite numerous attempts to refresh and to select “Everything” – or even to select for such things as “Membership Updates” in a group that has a dozen or more members.
Nothing shows in some…[Read more]

@bestwriter You say you have no problem giving credit for your images, but my question to you would be why do you feel the need to hide those image credits where most readers won’t see them?
If I were to quote from your work, I would put the mention in plain text where my readers would see it. It may not be a legal requirement that the credit be…[Read more]
@support I actually did just try this trick before I saw your comment, and it finally worked. This particular web site set-up is notorious for getting stuck on the previous setting, so I know to try again. But most of the week, this has not worked. I’m hoping now that I’ve been able to see my mentions, they’ll remain visible 🙂
Thanks for the help!

@support I will definitely try and see if things work better now! Video embeds are working fine, as are embedded article previews. The only issue with them is they show up right at the bottom of the page, instead of wherever they were inserted in the text.
Is there a way to fix that?
