If you are diagnosed with diabetes, you will be prescribed with medicine as if you are having a contagious disease, and this is wrong. Why worry if diagnosed with this sickness? There are so many natural ways to […]

    • Useful information about the benefits of natural medicine to cure diabetes. I have met many people who are having this health issue and they have to take medicine or injections in Allopathy. It can be controlled by change in life style and the choice of foods one chooses. Anything in extreme is not good and moderation is the key to it. Many children are eating junk food and are also prone to diabetes. Which affects their health from a young age.

The population of children having diabetes has increased in India reasons include, sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy food habits, not having physical recreation, not eating nutritive food etc. This health issue is expected by more than 20 percent in India in the next five years. There are natural medicine systems like Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and others many people also consume special leaves and seeds of some plants as they help in reducing these symptoms and help in the recovery.

    • Krishna Kumar , Even in the university where I work, there are many sick of diabetes. I am always telling myself not to be in stressed all the time for it triggers our blood sugar to rise; however, our faculty office is airconed and classrooms too full of fans so teachers always have less stress. I also control my actions. I am also eating the best anti stress and inflammatory vegetables like cauliflower, celery, parsley, garbanzos, spinach and some beans . I am always on the go. I am so much thankful to my knowledge about natural foods, if not, I may be always weak. About unk foods children prefer to eat, yu are right, the parents must stop them before it is too late to know they are already sick of dia at their early age. Thanks for dropping by my friend. Have a nice weekend. I won’t stay so long here I have Saturday classes. Bye for now.

@ PEEUSH TRIKHA,That happens because of the corrupt Construction builders. Yes, through media is where the construction owners are attacked by media. I walk in the slippery road .It takes me almost 1 hour to cross the bridge that is also full of people struggling to reach the other end where there is dry land vehicles awaiting. @ichchhemrityu
Yes some have been distorted very much. There is currently a show “ChandraNandini” on Star Plus, which looks like it has distorted the historical events during Chandragupta Maurya’s time a bit too much.
Programs like “Bharat Ek Khoj” were better and even “The Sword of Tipu Sultan”.

As of now, I have resumed reading books and novels after a long time, and I get less time to do so.

I first came to know about Alistair MacLean through one of my friends who was reading his novel “The Guns of Navarone” which was also made into a movie.
Later another friend of mine who was his fan introduced me to some of the movies based on Alistair’s works-
“Guns of Navarone” ,”Force 10 from Navarone” and “Ice Station Zebra”.

Yes @rebelwoman06 we need to eat things in moderation, even good foods like Veggies, fruits and Milks.
For e.g- If we eat 10 oranges in a day, it is also something that can cause us some kind of a trouble!

I think the best way is to eat natural, fresh foods like fresh vegetables and fruits. We ought to take care of food combinations like not eating milk with fish, or meat.
    Avoid curds with pickles.
Do not eat too much refined flour products like cake, pastries, samosas(Indian fried stuff).
Consumption of Pizzas, burgers ought to be within…[Read more]

Well, now a days, most of us try to take care of our health, diet and activity. Yet there are times, when our brain tells us not to eat something that is good in taste but not so good for our health, yet we do indulge in eating it.
I recently had a “Tiramisu” – an Italian sweet dessert(I read it has coffee, cream, bread and cakes as ingredients),…[Read more]

@tarasquirrel yes books can have more details. Movies have to cut out some part or shorten it. Exceptions can be in shorter length stories. In cases like “3 idiots” – an adaptation of “Five Point someone” by Chetan Bhagat, the movie was almost as good as the novel, and in some places better.
But of course, it also depends on the script writer,…[Read more]

@lovern Looks like you people need to exert pressure on your authorities to lay stronger roads, may be through social media, as well as through your elected representatives.
It is a fact that in many developing nations, including India there is big corruption in infrastructure projects and sub-standard material is often used to make more profits.

I also have read “Surely you are joking Mr Feynman” way back in 1995, the year I moved to college from school.
I too have read some serious and non-fiction books, but I have more of a liking for fiction and thrillers.
By the way I am also involved in writing a story series on LB.

I did wrote blog on this topic earlier on different sites(I think on Blogjob), but this is a question that still comes to my mind.
What do you prefer- a book or Novel, or its Screen adaptation– Movie adaptations would perhaps be the word, but some Novels are also adapted for TV Sops.

I would have talked about a lot more books but limited to some recent and one older one.
Yes, I have read Dan Brown works too.
First one was “Da Vinci Code” which I read in 2005. Dan Brown too is a good story-teller, but his works tend to be a bit longer and a bit boring in some places.

I always wear my boots to escape feet getting wet from dirty water.Since 2017 enters the planet, flood, mud, rain do not depart from our lands. The road in our campus is so slippery, muddy and I always feel the discomfort.Plus our bridge here cracks so only one lane allowable to pass. The damage is so severe for the bridge cracks.

    • I always experience it before, especially when my legs were exposed to cool air from the electric fan while am sleeping. Yes,it is very painful, but it disappears after I try to curl up the foot of the affected leg.

    • @acelawrtes, That is nice you were able to ease the painful cramp. I also experience this leg cramp in the evening during my deep sleep and when I suddenly stretched my leg. It is not god to stretch legs in few minutes it should be more.I was told by my elder sister to apply omega pain killer to my legs, but I refused for the odor of it is so string that it sticks to my legs and bed hehehe.
