suny wrote a new post, It is not right for our society 7 years, 8 months ago

I don’t think this is acceptable anywhere in the world or in any society to participate in same sex activities, but people are doing it and having fun in their own way. They even have clubs where they gather to d […]

    • I can feel you on this. As you can observe, what is said in the bible to be a sin is now being done by other people such as that one. Because it has been open now about same sex relationship, it seems that it is now accepted as not a sin anymore.

It is so sad, that in this modern age, the nice teachings in the bible are now being disregarded.

Even leaders of some countries already have permitted it. Though, it is so admirable that here in our country, Philippines , there are more believers in the bible than those who disregard the said teachings in the bible.

The leaders should have been who is being followed , not the leaders conforming to what is being practiced by a few and make it as something that is normal.

      • I have a counter question: what would you do as a leader whether you will agree to popular public demand or allow them to do what is right for them? But then who will decide what is right or what is wrong and here begins the problem.

    • Hi suny,

In the Holy Scriptures or Holy Bible more particularly in the Old Testament (Genesis Chapter 19), the story of Sodom and Gomorrah is a classic example of sexual immorality where male don’t want to have sexual intercourse with female anymore but what’s happening in that story was that male wants to have sex with male (homosexuality and homosexual practices) and female wants to have sexual intercourse with female (lesbianism and lesbian sexual practices) and such immorality and wickedness is such that God had destroyed such place through fires and brimstones.

In our modern times it seems that the values of societies are changing on how we view homosexuality and lesbianism as such. There is the so-called LGBT (lesbian,gay,bi-sexual, transgender) Community which are now constantly fighting for equality and attention in our modern society.

Consider the legalization in America and other countries of the so-called “same-sex” marriages. This is quite revolutionary for it has a dramatic impact on how we traditionally view marriage as a special contract between a man and a woman only.

Such legalization of the so-called same sex marriages has a far-reaching effect and implication on the family and society in the long run.

With this kind of development there is already an erosion of the male and female traditional role which ideally the younger generation could emulate for good.

I have nothing against any member of the LGBT Community.

It’s not my business to interfere with their personal sexual preferences, but my primary concern is the marriage and the family itself as we use to know it.

      • I agree with both of you, I agree it’s none of business or be judgmental but I have written what I felt is right for society as whole.

    • different peopel like not the same thing, i hope that both options are gong to be there so people should pick the one that they alike and better for their needs, yea

    • You mean they have a charge for transactions of that amount and that only one bank doesn’t charge? Maybe it is to discourage the people from having big transactions like that.

Good thing here that some banks charges the once money transfer from PayPal. Although, other transactions such as application for Manager’s check has a fee too.

Though here too, even if there are ATM machines already for withdrawals and deposits , you can see that in some banks there are a lot of people waiting for their transactions. Sometimes specially on a Monday, you will go there 9:30 , you will be called to window to transact your withdrawal or deposit by 12 in the afternoon.

    • Wow! Anyway, we’re all waiting when it will finally come to existence.

I was just reading an article on Literacybas which described the importance of water in humans’ life. True there is no life without water and the day water would no more available there won’t be any life r […]

    • Yes water is a great element of life. We do everything with water without water humans can’t leave ,infact there will be no living thing without water.

    • Here in the Philippines, when summer comes the rivers and small body of waters dry out.

Even our deep well , last summer didn’t have water even if we keep pumping it. The hot water dried it up.

Another problem is that garbages are thrown by undisciplined people in rivers. That’s why also the rivers cannot be relied upon to get water for the plants and for laundry.

Even our drinking water cannot just be gotten from the faucet anymore because we are scared that the source is dirty . We buy our drinkng water, which is another expense.

Oh summer is coming for sure, the now functioning deep well will not function again because It will be dried up again. 🙁

suny wrote a new post, Rapists should be shot down openly 7 years, 8 months ago

Should we allow rapists to walk freely to allow them to act freely?

Just because we are registering too many cases of rape in our country, should we allow rapists to walk freely in our society! No the need of the […]

    • How can having a free zone for rapists solve the problem of having many rapes. That would even entice them more to do it. Besides, they are like exhibitionists who also derive pleasure in making people cringe with fear when the see one.

Though, I don;t agree that we should shoot them. But the government should have them jailed once the raped victims have been proven to be raped by them. Or maybe they should just cut the penis , so they won’t have a chance of raping aagain.

    • My opinion, I agree all rapists should be sentenced for life in prison or killed openly with no hesitation.

Tea is now a well sought beverage. So, in India there are tea plantations. I think we don’t have one here, just coffee.

Are those women in the picture workers in the tea plantation? Are they dressed like that when they are out there in the field?

How do they know that a tea leaf is ready for harvesting and be made into teas?
