I would surely want them to get together but in the absence of knowing the whole truth from both sides it would be of no use to try and make them see reason.  At best I could tell both of them that they should try and make up.

Grabbing a friend? where they will go? Going somewhere? What is the meaning of grabbing, is this same with stealing? I think if one is really a friend, she or he will not be steal and not steal a friend. When you are a friend, you need to share them, blend with them, get along with them, not steal, not separate and anything negative.
