Had a quick visit from a friend, chatted with hubby before he left for work, and am now sitting down to a little snack of Lupin cherries and raw carrot. An odd combination, perhaps!

I emptied the last few drops of a bottle of Pinot Gris into a mug, to drink alongside the lovely cherries. I opened the bottle about a week ago, so it’s time the last of it was drunk. Just enough to savour for a few moments, and then it’s back to work!
