YUnit Continues with Unity 2D

I think YUnit is one of the fork of the unity that may continue. You can find that the development of the Unity 2D may continue in near feature. You can see they are launching both mobile and the desktop version. However there are some of the things that does need understanding. For example, you may find that the convergence that works out with continued developed. Another thing is that YUnit is yet to get full speed with the development. They may have different design goals to that of the unity team. But hopefully a lot of new features may get added into the development. Let’s see which are some of the features of the Unity that needs to be continued.

Logo

I am sure with the new Unity logo changed to YUnit there is another thing that works. You may find that new branding will make it look good with the desktop. You can see that logo has a very good impact on the people. And they get attracted towards the brand. i think the logo contest being organized would be surely good idea. There are some nice logos on the contest. And people are voting for the logo so this may surely help in such case there as well. I am not sure which logo is going to be reaching the best place at the last. Hopefully a good logo comes out. And I’d be looking for the good YUnit logo too.

Unity 2D

You can see that the unity 2D is a good project to continue. You can see that 2D project was indeed good on many counts. It was good for most of the 32 bit projects. And it was even better for the type of graphics it used to show. I think thee type of icons may need changing from the project. There would be times when it has to consider thee graphics requirements. I hope that unity 2D continues and doesn’t have much of issues. You can find that unity 2D with those type of features are something many people are looking forward too. So I am guessing that in due time they are going to make a good impact.

Hardware

Another important part which may need some clarification. You may have to see that hardware changes also take place. And DE has to accommodate for the type of the work that has to be done. You can see that RAM demand is also 2GB for most of the DE. For this reason I hope that the YUnit project remains at the low RAM. I don’t want this to be at the high RAM requirement. You are less likely to see any changes in first few iterations of the unity fork though. Lot of things needs changing. And for that we have to wait how the team is forking the things in the market for same reasons there.

You can see that this project has some potential. And you should take a look at the project. You can see the type of the market that demands convergence, it would be worth checking for the future of the phones and the tablets.
