10 Easy Ways to Earn Money from Facebook

Facebook is a household name around the world. This social networking platform has over 2.2 billion registered Monthly Active Users (MAUs) and the number is growing rapidly.

While Facebook allows you to stay in touch with relatives and friends, it also offers excellent opportunities for people to make money. There are several direct and indirect ways by which you can earn money from Facebook in 2018.

All you need is a Facebook account and some ingenuity to cash on the world’s favorite social media platform.

Why Facebook

Facebook ranks as the world’s third most popular website, surpassed only by search engine Google and its video sharing channel, YouTube. This means, whatever you do on Facebook has immense impact around the world.

Realizing that people also need to make money through social networking, Facebook has launched several tools that allow people to earn. The website has global reach and allows posting text, pictures, video and audio content for registered users.

How to Earn Money from Facebook

Considering the above facts, here are 10 beast and ways and means that can help you make money with Facebook. You can use one or multiple ways to make money from Facebook as per your convenience.

1. Facebook Marketplace

Facebook Marketplace is a free facility offered by the social networking website. It allows you to list various items, services and deals and promote them directly within the Facebook community.

The service allows you to reach thousands of people through your own social network while allowing Facebook friends to notify others about what you are selling. You can sell any item or service that meets Facebook Community Guidelines.

Similar to classifieds, the buyer can contact you, inspect the goods and finalize price, shipping and other details.

However, if you have an eye for unique stuff, you can make more money. A lot of items sold on Facebook Marketplace are rare and can fetch higher value in brick-and-mortar stores. Buy the stuff and resell it either online or through stores.

2. Affiliate Marketing on Facebook

Affiliate marketing is a system by which you promote a product, brand, service or company through a Facebook page or groups to your contacts. Thousands of merchants including Amazon, Flipkart, VCommission, Shaadi.com and many other pay you to promote their products.

You can do so by joining affiliate marketing programs offered by these organizations and posting their content on your Facebook page. Every time an interested party looks up the advertisement or content you have posted and becomes its customer, you stand to make some money.

3. Advertise Your Business on FB

Facebook has emerged as the single largest common platform on which every business- from home based ventures to the largest banks and consumer goods companies have a presence.

I have seen many common people are promoting their training, consultancy, selling home-made products or even custom-made dresses and jewelry through Facebook business. There are multiple options to promote your product on Facebook.

You can also interact with customers through the instant messenger service available on Facebook.

4. Create Facebook Content

Facebook encourages people who have unique skills or knowledge to take time and create digital content that can be sold through an app called 22Social. Content that can be sold includes PDF files, audios and videos.

Facebook also provides an excellent online tutorial for people who wish to monetize their content using 22Social and the social media platform.

All you need is a Facebook page, a free 22Social account, verified PayPal account and free or paid account to digital hosting including Dropbox, Vimeo, YouTube, Google Drive and SoundCloud, among others.

5. Earn by Selling Facebook Likes

This is a very debatable way to make money with Facebook. There are forums that support selling ‘likes’ for a Facebook page while others deem the system as illegal. Regardless, there are several marketers who will pay you to send a Facebook page to your ‘friends’.

Your friends have to simply click the ’like’ button on that Facebook page. According to various reports, including one published by National Public Radio (NPR), people charge as much as US$ 75 to give 1,000 likes for any Facebook page. Others advertize the service on sites like Fiverr.

6. Influencer Marketing on Facebook

Influencer marketing is not for anyone who has a large following on Facebook. Indeed, most people do not permit people to ‘follow’ them on Facebook because their content can land them in danger, if it is dealing with sensitive issues like politics and religion.

However, influencer marketers look for people with large followings and huge network of friends. They offer money to promote a brand or ideology through your Facebook page.

The system came under scrutiny of American and other law enforcement agencies after it was revealed that some sort of ‘influencer marketing’ could have been done by certain countries during election campaigns in the US and elsewhere.

Offering your Facebook following for influencer marketing for brands of products is however harmless.

7. Earn from Facebook Ads

Facebook Ads is a facility extended by the social media giant to corporate and individual users. It allows you to create and pot advertisements of various sorts that target a specific group of people based on age, location and other demographic parameters.

If you have a small home based business, you can make money by advertizing through Facebook Ads. The social media firm offers free and paid packages for Facebook Ads, depending upon your usage and target audience.

Additionally, you can also offer services of posting advertisements on behalf of businesses who wish to remain anonymous. Several large companies looking at hiring staff do not divulge their identity.

8. Manage Facebook Accounts

Managing social media accounts, especially Facebook page of a company or celebrity is very lucrative work from home option. There are scores of social media management jobs you can find online.

These jobs that require you to manage Facebook pages can be done fulltime or even part-time to make extra money. They are advertised under various designations like Social Media Manager, Facebook Assistant, Social Media Specialist and myriad others.

9. Facebook Groups

People open group pages on Facebook for various reasons. There are two categories of Facebook groups- Open and Closed. In an ‘Open’ group, people can join anytime. The other is a “Closed” group where membership is by invitation or application only.

Opening a Facebook group enables you to work as micro-influencer or a cause, political party or business. You can invite friends to become members of the group and invite others too. Upon reaching the desired level of membership, you can ‘close’ the group. A ‘Closed’ group allows you to influence members about anything.

10. Direct Advertizing

A small business can post advertisements directly on a regular Facebook page to attract customers. These advertisements can be about employment, classifieds, products and services. Many small businesses use Facebook purely as a forum to post their advertisements.

A lot of jobseekers also browse Facebook pages of companies to find employment opportunities.

In Conclusion

Facebook allows linking with various apps that allow you to open an online store or get memberships. However, the company is currently reviewing its policies governing apps as well as security levels of apps after reports of data leaks rocked the world in March 2018.

Hence, we prefer not to comment on these money-making apps that can be linked with Facebook. As we can see from the highlighted examples, it is very easy to earn money from Facebook. All you need is the inclination and time to cash-in on the social media platform.

Social Media Dramatics and More

Social Media is very helpful for promoting, advertising, and socializing but social media can also be a place where darkness appears. Not every person who uses social media is friendly. There are some very cruel people who go to social media just to target others. There was a time when social media was a great place to hang out virtually but since all of the creeps came. Social Media seems to be a place that needs some” light.” There’s a lot of bullying and it appears as if a lot of mentally disturbed people are making their way to social media.

“Social Media can be Quite Useful but There is Also a lot of Chaos on the Platforms.” By: Tanikka Paulk

Some causing all sorts of chaos. It’s pretty difficult for promoters to conduct business when there’s a lot of trolling and bashing taking place on social media and the sad part is. Some of the users may make their way into person’s devices just to harass the individuals. Mainly competitors. That’s why spending less time on social media is a good idea. In order to stay mentally sane there has to be “a decision” to either spend less time on the platforms or delete the accounts.

Some are very determined to make their competition lives miserable. Blocking may be necessary and in some cases blocking may not keep the trolls from trying to cause trouble for others. Conducting business may be difficult if there’s “a lot of confusion on the platforms.” There are some platforms which offer protection for users. If a social media platform expects to increase revenue then they’ll want to make sure users have the tools in order to offer the protection which is certainly needed with all of the hotheads hanging around.

A lot of battling may take place “on social media.” So many creating a scene in order to advance or perhaps promote their brands or products. Whatever the reasons are, so many are causing a disconnection on business, and in order areas as well. It’s pretty sad how so many adults are behaving like ignorant beings. Taunting and harassing one another. Some given hacking devices in order to feud with their competition.

What’s the Plus for Having a Google Plus Account?

How is that I am active on Google Plus? To my surprise, the Google developers invited me to the party. When Google Plus was in the “testing” phase, received an eMail – perhaps because my Gmail account had been set up for a while – don’t know why I was “chosen”, but they asked me to participate in the development process. Started with my profile. Didn’t know anything about the Business pages (now called “brand accounts”) at the time.

When G+ became “official” my profile was already there with that long number ID.  Since it was there, why remove it?

One day, after several months of being active on G+, opened my Gmail to find a communication stating that my custom URL was ready to be claimed. That was so flattering. Me? Granted a custom URL? Without even asking for it?? Angels must be watching over me!

Later on there was buzz about the pages which was cool because … why not? Had business pages on Facebook. The G+ pages are super easy to set up and you could directly link them to your website or blog. So I did!

A Google Plus profile and page are both good to have. Not either/or. Both help with professional and social networking, help with building your business brand, and help with getting found in organic search results.

My advice to anybody who has not done it yet?

  • Plus your profile.
  • Plus your business.

If you decide that it’s not for you, hit the DELETE button. Nothing is written in stone.

When Bored, Do You Go to Social Media Sites or Do You Go Out?

There are times we feel so sluggish, as if we do not like to do anything, not to move, and just laze around wasting away the time.

In such instances, do you open your computer and let your mind go through a lot of things, or just scroll down on what friends and acquaintances posted on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites. You just go over and see what they had been doing. You do not make comments, or hit “like” or make your status post.

You act like a “spy” hiding behind your keyboards, just having the feeling of you do not want them to know what you are doing, or how’s you have been, or what is going on with your life. You want to be incognito! This feeling is somewhat related to being anti-social, though you still like to be attached to them in some ways; not totally detached because you are still interested in their activities.

You are just giving yourself some time to adjust; to totally signify your “presence” online when you have the mood for it; to mingle with them, to chat, exchange comments on certain issues, or you might likely to make a status post; be it a picture, or any words to describe your present mood.

This is the best thing I like with Facebook. I can see what friends, family, or relatives are doing. You can also monitor the activities in your locality; the latest news, political issues, good or negative news, and everything that affects our daily lives.

But at times, one can have a feeling to totally avoiding and being away from friends; so he can avoid opening his social media account. He can do other things, divert his attention to other activities at home or at work, and totally be out of circulation. He can choose to go out, to take a stroll, to go to a mall and window shop or engage in other activities there. Or just go places to have a change of atmosphere; so he can feel “recharged” again.

Then after a week or two, he can be very happy again to see and visit his friends online, and let them know he is still around to “mingle” with them online.

Social Media sites I use daily

I browse a lot different web sites dependable on my mood and what I need at that moment. But some of my most used sites that I can freely say that I use them daily, are: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Reddit.  My day on the internet would not be same without these 4 sites.

Facebook

For me, Facebook is the first social media site that I have ever used in my life, and I am still  bond to it. Maybe not as much as I was couple of years ago, but I am still bond to it and using it daily and actively. Most of those reasons are for communicating with people that I have no other place to contact them except Facebook (and mobile phones of course).  For daily entertainment, and occasionally doing it for fun (read: playing Facebook games) on this platform.

Youtube

Youtube is my second most-used social media site that I browse it more than often on a daily basis. I’ll be brief. I use YouTube mostly for listening good songs that hype me up, or watching videos of course. I can’t imagine my social-media life without YouTube.. Everything I want to watch, is there… Except of the more mature content.. you know what I’m saying, but this time I am not writing for that hehe.

Reddit

I placed Reddit above Twitter, because I really like more and use more this site. Reddit is a million user social media and discussion website. I am sure that all of you have heard of this website. Literally you can find everything there. I usually visit Reddit to giggle in some funny subreddits, or follow some daily betting tips.. Everything on the home page of Reddit is worth reading. I don’t wanna repeat myself but I will say it again that you can find literally everything there. Also Reddit is a great site for learning new things and what happened or what’s happening in the following period.

Twitter

And the last one is Twitter. I browse twitter the least because I don’t find it fun, and I admit I don’t like the style and navigation there lol. I just can’t get used to that platform. I only visit Twitter when I want to see what’s trending around the world, such as the latest MOAB drop on Afghanistan by USA’s president Donald Trump and many more world news, announcements, sports news, politics and such.

There are many more websites I use daily, as I said depending on my mood and my need.. But those listed above are my top 4. My mildly used sites on a weekly basis also: Literacy base; Google; NBA Board; Kiss anime; Putlocker, but If I go counting it’ll probably take an hour to list them all here.

Promoting your Blog Through Quora
April 5, 2017
1

I have learned about lot of traffic sources lately. And thought a lot of them are worth promoting your blog posts. You can make some good money by promoting them through these social media sites. You can find that quora is one such resource where you can promote your website or links. Though there are not many strict rules, you can do a lot of promotion for the content with some efforts. And I have found that with enough visitors checking your website, you can make some good money. You just have to focus on your content and regularly promote it through the answer. So in this article we are going to take a look at why quora is a good resource for those who are going to use it as a traffic source. So let’s see why it is a good source for traffic.

Organic Traffic

When you answer any question on quora, you get to add some links into the answers. And this way you can easily promote your website links. You can find that people are going to click on the link. You can then generate some traffic towards your website. I have seen people using their youtube channel, blog and other links to get some traffic. Though some of the people are finding it harder to generate regular traffic through this. But it can be good and as good as organic traffic through search engine.

Backlinks

One of the good things about the quora is that you can build some good backlinks to your website. And google these days spend time crawling the quora. And this means your link is going to be accepted. And that in itself is a good thing. You have to focus on the backlinks in each answer. I have found that it can be a good thing that you are adding the backlinks. You should focus on adding 10 backlinks each month. More won’t help much and may trigger their spam system. So make sure you avoid that type of the stuff. I suggest you to consider adding some links in your answer. Every second or third answer from you should have one backlink.

SEO

There is definitely some value for those who want to improve SEO. I have seen some people making good use of the SEO value of quora. They spend the time through the backlinks and keywords. So this definitely does help for those who want to get the most out of the content. And the traffic source in itself does helps. So I suggest thinking about it. Making some connections. And this can be one way to gain some SEO value out of the platform. I must say there are times when you spend time there interacting with the content. It does help out to some extent. You should consider adding some SEO value.

In reality, this type of traffic source can build you some good value for the site. And also getting initial content for your website is possible with quora’s questions too. You can make some decent money through that.

Social media menace in our generation.

The social media is like a plague in our country right now. Everyone seems to be on one platform or the other. We have accounts like Twitter, Google plus, Instagram, Facebook, Blackberry, Whatsaap, Viber etc. I am on quite a few, but I must confess I can hardly keep up. In the social media world, you can always keep in touch with people, in fact there is hardly any excuse of not being able to reach people even if you do not have their phone numbers. It seems interesting and good to communicate with family and friends.

However, one thing gets me on social media. The thought of you changing your dp just to celebrate someone. I have never been in that line, I can wish you well, but will not change my dp, but friends have made it clear to me that since I do not do it, then do not expect it from us. I was forced to join the band wagon at some point, but to be honest with you, I really do not care.

I will commend facebook  and instagram for the likes they have on their accounts for people who cannot comment, we just hit the like button. That to me relays as much message as a greeting, but to some, it’s not enough. I have tried to make people understand that I do not really have the time for such, but they have failed to listen. They have failed to understand that I cannot possibly keep up with everybody on their birthdays. There is always a birthday on each day and you must wish them well. I must commend fb again because they remind you of birthdays of family and friends. As soon as I see it, I wish them well with a very short message.

I’m grateful to social media for everything, from clothes shopping to solving problems, but we must learn to curb it a bit. I am of the opinion that we limit our use of social media to just keeping up with friends and all, after all it’s cheaper than making calls, but my only downside will be that people hardly see one another anymore. Our use of social media has reduced that for most. The only people I visit are my parents, the aged ones who cannot use social media.

This menace has also brought fame for some while it has made some rich overnight.  We are happy with the advantages but should also be weary of the harm or damages it has brought to some. My only worry with sites like whatsaap will be having all the artisans on your contact list sending you very friendly messages of which I do not condone. Just recently, my meat seller, mechanic and guard sent me one of such messages, but thank God for the block option. I have such people on instagram following me so closely it’s unbelievable. As soon as I post a picture, they like immediately even though I have the option to restrict followers by making my account private. I have personally decided to leave mine open for reasons best known to me.

Thank you social media for the good, bad and the ugly.

The future of social media
March 27, 2017
1

I am a member of Twitter for last 7 years and I have no hesitation in accepting the fact that I am a great fan of Twitter. I mainly use Twitter for my commercial benefit therefore I do not spend much time on the site directly therefore have never faced any opposition or bad comments like many other active users face frequently.

I have heard about heated exchanges of tweets and retweets on Twitter or even many fights started or settled on a site with almost one billion active users. In fact I am not aware of any of these activities personally but I hear or read about such activities on different social and print media. But that is normal for a website with such a large membership.

I was hearing about a fight going on in between two of our Bollywood superstars  Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan having nothing short of war like situation between them. Actually it all started when the lovely lady Kangana was dropped from a big budget movie and she blamed Hrithink for her ouster. And the bombardment war in form of tweets and retweets began in between fans of both these actors.

There are tons of people who see the end of social media sites in a near future. I don’t know what is the idea that supports their prediction? Perhaps the fact sites like Myspace have lost their members in a big way or some other companies which were popular until recently have gone in the background but I personally don’t see any probability with Twitter in near future.

What I like about Twitter is that it has very less scope for people discussing their routine life like, “I had a pimple yesterday” or “I had this or that for my lunch or dinner”.  And I what I like most about Twitter is that it has given a proper platform to the bloggers and other people willing to share their work among their followers. In fact, Twitter is a better platform than Facebook in many ways which in my views is more than a mere social media site.

why share in social media your post

why share in social media your post

sharing in media is as they say, bring you lots of views, bring you lots of traffic and that is what all th writers in any sites want, why because as views and comments means more money

so do you do sharing in social media like facebook, linkedin, instagram, google, atavi and more of these famous media?

i used to, yes used to, read more to see why and if you will decide to stop you also from sharing or what, this article about sharing your post and tweets and every single post on social media the famous and not famous

writing a post needs at least half an hour, to find the idea that you want to talk about first, then try to find the exact context adn then find the good keywords that will make the pepole come to your site, keywords means more views traffic

more views mean you get more revenue and that depend on the site wht you are writing for, some are fair and give you better share, and some are stealing your hard work and give you little dollars

so how bit you have to wait to get few dollars, add to this the time you need to waste posting in social media, its alot, its too much, when i tried to find out how beneficial the social media, i get the idea that if you will write your next post instead of sharing in media here and there, you will earn more, of course im talking with the good keywords using.

if any body agrees or find out that they did the same let us know to see the social media or the more posts works or do money better.

here are the social media that i used int he past to get more views and revenue

youtube, google, instagram, twitter, atavi, stumbleupon, pinterest, digg and lots more that i can nto remember now
