The Reachable Mountain top

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream that one day that we’ll all be untied. With all his hard work and dedication for civil rights and the rights of others it seems to be underappreciated. Do people really want to unite? Probably not because unifying would mean more work. Yes, trying to uplift, and encourage one another is probably something way too many are unwilling to do so they’ll take the easier route. Racism and discrimination has been within the world for a very long time and it doesn’t appear to be going anywhere.

Everyone has faced discrimination at some point in their lives but of course there’s some that face it on a regular basis. What creates racism? The lack of knowledge and fear. When we’re unwilling to get to know one another then we’ll be unwilling to want others in our circle. Racism and Discrimination is a form of isolation. If people are isolated then they will feel trapped and feeling trapped will make one slow down so that they’re unable to complete certain tasks.

There’s one group of people that are so feared that if there was a way to send these group of people to a far away land they would send them. It’s unfortunate that people out able to see that everyone has opportunities and if they’re willing to take the opportunities then they’ll become happier. In an effort to keep some down they will try with all their might to create a form of slavery.

Why should anyone suffer with slavery? Why did anyone have to? Those are questions that probably won’t be answered. Some may want slavery but no one wants to be the one to tackle those questions. Trying to get to the mountain top is no easy task. It certainly isn’t easy when there’s people trying to pull a certain group of people away from the mountain top.

Would Dr. King be pleased with the progress that’s here today. Maybe or maybe not. There will be other challenges to tackle. How are people going to grow when there’s groups of people trying to stunt their growth? Well, some could try to reason with such people, but if they’re stuck in their ways then it would be quite difficult to climb that mountain but it can be down.

The climbing may take a little longer and the travel can become tiresome. If one is determined then they’ll get their. Maybe not on their timing but they’ll get there. It’s unfortunate that people are filled with so much hate. Hate is unable to conquer but love does and until people realize that. They’ll keep facing the challenges that they’re facing today. Discrimination not only exist with other races. It can exist with the same race and it does.

If people are unwilling to allow others to advance then we’ll continue to live in a conditioned world. A world where there’s limited freedom. Although so many cry freedom not too many want others to be free. They’ll try to stop a cow from eating a blade of grass if it meant that the cow would become successful. If we’re unwilling to program our minds to see that everyone has an opportunity to make a difference then we’ll be in the same position each and every waking day.

    • I do agree with the details about reaching the mountain top. At first, it seems unreachable but the will do uplift oneself can bring us to the reachable mountain. Some people are afraid of change in their lives. In time, they will realize that this is not the good way practice in their lives. We need to adapt to changes in our environment and be a person to reach goal in life without limitations.
