The Angry eagle takes a bite again

Tamzer in XN27 and Ronh in XN1 took a diversionary course and were almost together now. They however had to take a decision.
“Ronh we can go back and strike again after 3 or 4 hours.”
“No sir, the enemies will get some more time to regroup and counter us. So we have to do something that they do not expect.”
They had some conversation back and forth, and Ronh came up with a plan.

The Eastern sector command in Colt III had been fully covered with air cover as well as anti aircraft fire. With news coming in of enemy fighter planes’ destruction, there was a sense of joy, but a cautious one.
There could still be danger ahead.

Parbat 67 series anti-aircraft guns were in the expert hands of Subedar Venkat Kumaran. He had once took part in a peace keeping operation in Congo on a UN peace mission. Once they came face to face with some rebels who had some stolen fighter planes.
They attacked the UN camp.
Subedar Venkat, assisted by some other countries and Indian soldiers made the attackers pay a lot. All in all 20 fighter planes were destroyed and the 3 remaining had surrendered.

After watching at the sky with his team for nearly 3 hours, he went for a break and do a face wash in a building extension nearby.
His assistant Vishwanath Aiyar was watchful. He felt some flash of light but then thought that probably he was feeling some effect of sleep.
Yet suddenly there was a blast. All their 6 guns were ablaze and a fighter plane with a bald eagle drwan on it arose from a low height nearby. There were a few more blasts and it was smoke all around.
“Vishwanath, are you ok?”, Venkat came running.
“Fire Sir, we have lost guns, and the Eagle….” Vishwanath uttered these last words and he slumped in Venkat’s eyes.
Venkat was not known to shed tears and had an image of a strict person. However, he could not control weeping for some time, before he controlled his emotions.
He immediately ran to a nearby control room which had only suffered some external damage and dialed a number.
“Captain Lokesh, Eagles have taken a bite again.”

Taming the angry Eagle

“That was great Ronh. Let us maintain some distance. You cover South and I will move to the centre once more.”
“Ok sir.”
Ronh in XN1 was now moving with XN34, 29, 33 and 41. A backup of 5 more aircrafts was coming to support them.
He had moved 4 miles to South.
Suddenly there was a light flash to his left, followed by a blast.
XN41 on his left flank had been hit by low beam fire, used by only some special fighter planes.
Ronh took a somersault and changed his course.

He put on stealth mode and detected two planes at 100 feet. He moved with great speed.

Airman Rakesh and Anwar sensed some movement but there was no sound- may be a night bird’s flight.
But unaware, they came under heavy fire by Ronh and XN29. They retaliated but it was of no use.
Their planes dived with a blast and plunged into the sea which was now no more than 45 to 6o feet away.

Ronh took a turn again. But a plane suddenly came in front.
He dived again.
There was a beep on his messaging system. It was from Air officer Susheel in INF 20
“Ronh the master flyer- I admire yor skills. However, its time for you to leave and live a peaceful life.”
“Air officer Susheel I too admire you but you forget Ronh never gives up on challenges.”

Ronh then unleashed some missiles he had kept for emergency use in 3 directions and some bombs.

Two of Indian air force planes were hit, with one pilot ejecting with a parachute.

Officer Susheel however, did not give up. He charged up, and just when he reached near Ronh’s plane, he did a great acrobatic skill and changed direction.
Ronh fired and so did Susheel. Susheel dived again and Ronh missed.
However, another plane came in front of Ronh- this was Susheel’s ploy, and had Ronh in cross-hairs.
The other plane took a sharp aim and it hit Ronh badly.
There was a blast.

“Officer Susheel to command .. The Angry Eagle has been tamed.”
29, 33 and 34 too were nuetralized. However, one more Master Eagle still needed to be trapped.
