How to slow down aging process?

It is natural that every person wishes to look younger forever. But the fact is that aging cannot be controlled and we all are going to be old with the passage of time. However besides the plastic surgery there are some ways by means of which aging process can be slow down naturally. Some of the important ways are discussed here to prevent aging for a longer time.
1. Use of antioxidants: Antioxidants should be included in diet which contains all the necessary vitamins. Antioxidants have anti-inflammatory properties which protects body skin. The rich sources of antioxidants are fresh fruits, vegetables and green tea.
2. Reducing the use of dairy products. Milk, butter and other dairy products accelerates the aging process and causes wrinkles. Therefore dairy products should be used in fewer amounts.
3. Drink up: Approximately 60% of our body is made of water. Every part of the body needs water to function well. Hydration is also very important for a healthy skin. Therefore drink more water to be healthy and to look younger.
4. Exercise: with the increase in age, muscles of the body lose mass because of the death of motor neurons. The motor neurons control the muscle fibers, and with the death of the motor neurons the skin sags. Regular exercise and lifting heavy weights helps the muscles to become stronger and fit for a long period.
5. De stress: Stress can result in several dangerous diseases like, high blood pressure, heart diseases and skin inflammation etc. Stress can also negatively affect the body immune system. So even in young age a person looks very old if having stress. Therefore stress should be avoided to be young for a long time.
6. Use of sun blocks: The ultraviolet rays of the sun damages the skin elastic fibers which cause skin wrinkles and develops age spots on the areas exposed to the sun. Therefore sun blocks should be used to prevent the skin from the ultraviolet rays of the sun.

    • Yes. I agree with you The reasons are more for health problems and another irregular diet habits. But, the study shows that it is always the mental activity that leads to aging. The research is still on and has not come out with any valid evidence to prove this. But, as per Hindu philosophy and other branches of medicine, the mental activity actually will have a bearing in the production of various acids and enzymes in the body which reflect the emotional feeling of a human being. They interact with the surroundings bringing phenomenal changes in the appearance.
