It has been said that there are foods that contain toxins, and that they should be banned or should not be consumed. now my question is this, it appears that most of the food that we eat is not fit for consumption, we first heard about powered milk, then there was kales, there was also drinking coke, eating potatoes, red meat, sausages so whats next.

One simple thing to say to all of this is to grow your own vegetables and livestock. Then you will know if it is healthy or not. Why are relying on the government or even the grocery store to provide food for us? We have gotten lazy and expect too much from others. I wouldn’t trust anything that was being raised by the American governments. We have to take back what we were meant to do.

@Anitah Gimase, there are toxic foods that are in canned but if they are still not expiring, it won’t be toxic. Better try to plant some veggies in your yard so safe to eat them and can save some dollars if having some space at home.

At home, we planted some veggies in our backyard like spinach, cabbage, pepper, onions, tomatoes, cauliflower, moringa and other veggies that grow easily. We do not spray, and are so glad that smoke can stay aways some harmful insects that eat veggies.What can you day? Do you still have some space in your backyard?

That is one good question because of thosenews about this and that food that is with toxins etc.

Actually, we can eat them, though we should see to it that they are well washed and cooked and we eat in moderation and occasionally. This is true with delicious foods, that are said to be unhealthy. THe only secret is we eat them in moderation and occasionally only.

AT least, we won’t be depriving ourselves from eating these delicious yet unhealthy foods.

Just drink lots of water to wash them out of the system.

@Dina, hehehehe, there is no such delicious and unhealthy foods.Unhealthy foods are those like unwashed and full of toxic acids that are labelled as MSG .Foods labelled as having one chemical content MSG are bad for the health foods. They cause cancer , so those are the foods we avoid to eat bad for our health.

I think the best way is to eat natural, fresh foods like fresh vegetables and fruits. We ought to take care of food combinations like not eating milk with fish, or meat.
Avoid curds with pickles.
Do not eat too much refined flour products like cake,pastries, samosas(Indian fried stuff).
Consumption of Pizzas, burgers ought to be within limits.
Also, we ought to try seasonal fruits and vegetables more and have less of refrigerated ones.

Yes @rebelwoman06 we need to eat things in moderation, even good foods like Veggies, fruits and Milks.
For e.g- If we eat 10 oranges in a day, it is also something that can cause us some kind of a trouble!

Yes, in everything , the key is moderation.

Taking of drugs in excess can make us sick or addicted to it.

Overeating of oranges in a day can result to stomachache.

Just eat one or two everyday so you can reap it’s health benefits. And this is true with all kind of foods.
