A Love Letter From a Friend
I am writing to you because I feel there are some things about yourself that you should know and always remember.
First of all, I want you to know how proud I am of you for all that you have conquered! For as long as I have known you, you have always been fighting one battle or another and what I admire is your ability to see a win in every fight regardless of the outcome. I know that at times you feel tired, discouraged and at times you wish someone else would just fight the battle for you… but you would never be happy with that. I think what you really want is someone to fight beside you. I know you view relationships seriously, especially since you have been through quite a few bad ones. I also know you understand the reasons. I really like that you are able to see that good or bad, there was a lesson learned and a purpose served in every one of them. I am sorry to hear about you and Daniel. I know you believed this time would be different. If I may be so bold to say that I feel you missed some of the red flags because you have become so independent and self-reliant, that his inability to meet you on every level was not noticed until you began to seek a deeper intimacy. You are a very strong and deep woman, some guys can’t handle that. I am happy to see you have moved past the pain and are continuing with the new path you have discovered for yourself. You are going to do well and I am excited for you!! I love your passion for healing others. I know how much you want to alleviate another’s suffering, if only a little. You have such a tender heart in spite of all the ugliness you have seen and experienced and that is something to love about yourself!
I see a caring woman who knows what she wants and where she’s going. A woman who knows exactly what she needs to do even before asking for advice. I see a woman who has risen above her many mistakes and who is able to love herself and forgive herself and who is now unstoppable. I know there are some who think you are weak because you pick your battles and those who pushed too far quickly discovered you are a force to be reckoned with. You are sometimes impatient, cranky and at times speak with a harsh tongue. Your truth can be blunt and oh how you can be intimidating at times, but to those of us who really know you… we see a smart and loving woman with a big heart, with empathy and compassion. Who can make practically any story funny. Who can laugh at herself and is fun to be around. Who guards her tattered heart because she knows how fickle people can be and who carried heartache for 2 of her children who are no longer in this world. Who sometimes forgets how strong she really is.
I want you to know that you are a truly remarkable warrior and shining start. You inspire a lot of people whether you believe it or not and this world is truly a better place for having you in it. Let that free spirit run free again and I promise you this time she will soar!! I just felt like you should know these things,,, I love you unconditionally and everything I say comes from that place.
Forever Love ~
Your Best Friend,
Is this true? Because it really sounds like a sad story. 😞💔
True Story…. I suppose it is very sad at times, but no matter what happens it will always have a happy ending because I win. I still have joy and love in my heart and I have the strength of a warrior that carries me through all the struggles. Thank you for reading. <3
